Fret: My mileage is way down... and really, I have no excuse and cannot explain it.
Total Miles for March: 159 (Down from 188 in February)
Breakdown:
Running: 124 (up from 116 in February)
Cycling: 22 (down from 68 in February)
Swimming: 8 (up form 3 in February)
Walking: 6 (up from 2 in February - Dolce needs the exercise)
My mileage decrease shouldn't be too alarming since I wasn't really training for the half, but it is disappointing. Total mileage for the year thus far is: 555 (which is definitely up from last year). I can see it in my body, but p90x is still keeping it trim. MUST WORK ON MILEAGE, especially on Athena.
Fact: I love my dog... I mean... a LOT! And Dolce really loves me. She prefers to be with me 100% of the time and you know what, I think that is cool. Not even my kids want that - okay, they want it 99.9% of the time (and not just for the chocolate in my purse). Dolce brings me great joy and having playdates with our neighbor's new puppy is keeping her pretty busy - three nights this week! And since she needs to lose 2 lbs, hopefully the puppy playdates will help!
Fun: I am excited to run the Cherry Blossom 10 miler this Sunday. My outfit is the Pink Passion that I did not wear that the Half Marathon and hopefully TriGuru won't be too disgusted by it. I am excited because I am not trying to get a certain time at this race. I just want to have fun, run hard, but enjoy the race. It is fun going into a race with this attitude... not sure when I got all competitive with myself (birth, maybe), but I want to just have fun.
And even more exciting, is that Runningskirts.com will be at the Cherry Blossom Expo... so I hope I can contain myself and not buy all of their Spring line... I mean, how many skirts do I really need?

hmmm...how many skirts does one need? my husband asked that question last night. I am counting the minutes until the new line comes online, but i think that I have already bought most of them anyway at the princess half and emailed and had one sent to me last week. Good luck at the race. I would love to do that race next year. I heard it was really fun!
Wow ... that's a lot of pink, and looks like a fun outfit for a race.
Those numbers are still pretty impressive I think.
Love the ouftit, and I love runningskirts.com too.

Great outfit! I'll look for you on Sunday flying by me! I may introduce myself if I don't feel like too much of a dork. I'll be wearing a Tech baseball hat.
Pink is so fitting for a Cherry Blossom Run :)
Your dog is SO CUTE!!!
How many skirts do you need? I was asked recently, by a "BFF" of mine, and had to confess that I'm into the 20's... Sadly, I recently realized, I have my favorite 5, which I wear, and you'll only find me in the others when I need to match a buddy or "nothing else" is clean. And by nothing else, I mean nothing else that I "want" to wear...
Have wicked fun this weekend, and... did you know... it's APRIL 2???
Skirts are like shoes - you can't have too many! :) Your dog is precious!
Congrats! Love the outfit, too. Perfect for the Cherry Blossom 10-miler!
Alas, I have only 2 running skirts, but I'll be putting a few more on my birthday list this year.... :-)
