Changes

Things have been changing around here. First, since it is Christmastime, we have our tree up:

The best presents I could ask for!

I am working out even more than usual and so I decided I needed an easier "Do". And up until yesterday, I was in love with it. What happened? Well, I saw a picture from Thanksgiving and I started to miss my curls (I NEVER thought I would say that). Both of these pictures are both courtesy of Kiera:

After

Another change is that laundry has picked up. Why? Well, because I HAVE to wear like 4 outfits just to run outside. I miss the days where I only wore a skirt, a tank, a bra, and socks. Bob and I ran hill repeats on Monday and it was below 30 degrees and VERY windy and dark. Well, I had on, UA leggings, UA top, bra, two pairs of socks, wind pants, wind top, gloves, and a fleece head band. It sucks to have to wear so many clothes. I have been going to the gym, but are you "allowed" to wear running skirts at the gym if you are doing weights? Not sure the etiquette here. I mean, I wear a skirt while doing P90X at the house:

Please ignored the messy basement, pic is also courtesy of Kiera
Also, I am started to rethink this 10k PR attempt on Sunday. It is going to be in the 30s and raining. YUCK! Frankly, I want to bail on the race, but since I am obsessed, I won't. I have decided to run with the way I feel and take the pressure off for the PR. I mean PR attempts should be in best case scenarios, right? It is a flat course, but if there is any wind it will be AWFUL as it is around Hains Point. TriGuy said, "the faster you run the faster it will be over!" Yeah, about that... only time will tell.

And finally, I was featured on Melinda Hinson Neely's blog HERE. Although, I am not one of her featured runners in her book, I am going to be one of several runners featured on a smaller scale in the book. Pretty Cool! Check out the article.

I wore a hiking skirt to the gym the other day and no one seemed to care :-)

You DO looked mighty ripped in your push-up picture!

Love the tree - and the "presents" are pretty cute, too! I have never worn a skirt to the gym, but why not?

I like the hair....don't have haircut remorse!!

I applaud all of you runners who have to run in the cold and I will try to keep my comments about the 45 degree mornings to a minimum here.

Nice guns!!

You look seriously ripped in that push-up picture. I think you can wear your running skirt where ever you want to...I don't think you'll get any complaints. And the hair is cute!

If someone gives you grief about wearing the skirt just show them your guns!! Wow! You look awesome hear to toe. Keep up the great work.

I think you should run the race however you want.

Congrats on being a celeb!

I too cut my hair short to keep me from pulling it back into a ponytail. I have curls and have days that I miss them, but this cold weather, hats and curls don't mix. I love your hair as should you!!
