As I mentioned over the weekend, we got 5.8 inches of snow... not a lot, but snow. Yesterday, the sun was bright and hot and much of it melted, but it left the roads icy. I knew without a doubt the kids would get a 2 hour delay for school so I left my Sunday night prep work to do this morning. Fat chance - school was on time!
I found my self running around making breakfast, packing lunches, packing book bags, finding math homework (unit test this week for Kiera, my 1st grader), finding "Show & Tell" and a picture for the letter of the day: "D" (my son, Brock is in pre-K). UGH! I am exhausted.
Some of you know that I watch a baby, A, for 4.5 hours Mon thru Thurs. I just love A so much. She is such a good baby. Well, the baby comes at 8am, so it takes a lot of organization to be ready by 8 and this morning, I had just stopped vacuuming (I have a year old pug and since A started to crawl, I vacuum everyone morning so she is not filled with dog hair - pugs shed a lot) when the knock came at the door.
I think my plan for the future... is to do my work no matter what. Isn't that what we tell our children? Do your homework even if it might snow and there is no school? I need to follow my own advice!
This weeks goals:
Monday: Run 2-4 miles
Tuesday: Workout with Benny (our last one)
Wednesday: Start P90X - Chest & Back, Ab Ripper X
Thursday: Plyometrics, run 3-5 miles
Friday: Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X
Saturday: Yoga X, run 4-6 miles (recover from Lock-in)
Sunday: Rest Day
I'll keep you posted on my progress. And I'll leave you with a picture of my baby, Dolce the Wonder Dog. This was taken on our way down to my parents the day after Christmas. She is looking up through my knees. She would hate the picture because it makes her head look big, but good thing dogs cannot talk.
