12 Steps to a Healthier You (by Leaycraft)
  1. Read the Bible and pray each day.
  2. Know that with God's help, you can achieve your golas.
  3. Keep a food diary to track what you eat.
  4. Plan your meals.
  5. Exercise regularly.
  6. Take it one day - even one hour - at a time.
  7. Pamper youself with a bubble bath bath, good book instead of your favorite food.
  8. Drink plenty of water.
  9. Give yourself permission to be human. If you slip up, start over at the next meal or even snack.
  10. Enlist the support of family and friends.
  11. Stay focused. Don't be sidetracked by anyone or anything.
  12. Yearn for success. Being passionate about a healthier you will move you to action.

My thoughts:

I definitely agree with these strategies. I think putting and keeping God first makes the journey easier. I think forgiving yourself when you make mistakes is pretty important too.
