12 Steps to a Healthier You (by Leaycraft)
- Read the Bible and pray each day.
- Know that with God's help, you can achieve your golas.
- Keep a food diary to track what you eat.
- Plan your meals.
- Exercise regularly.
- Take it one day - even one hour - at a time.
- Pamper youself with a bubble bath bath, good book instead of your favorite food.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Give yourself permission to be human. If you slip up, start over at the next meal or even snack.
- Enlist the support of family and friends.
- Stay focused. Don't be sidetracked by anyone or anything.
- Yearn for success. Being passionate about a healthier you will move you to action.
I definitely agree with these strategies. I think putting and keeping God first makes the journey easier. I think forgiving yourself when you make mistakes is pretty important too.
