ABC's of Me

Since I am not original and I LOVED Tonia at Racing with Babes post yesterday, I decided to give you the ABC's of Me today:

(A) Age: I am 33 and while I feel old... I am as healthy as I have ever been.

(B) Bed Size: A Full... not sure how it works, but my husband and I rarely even touch each other and this was before I lost 80+ lbs

(C) Chore You Hate: Drying dishes. As teenagers we would let them air dry until my father caught us and would spray them down so we *had* to dry them. This was cruel!

(D) Dogs? Yes, my 2 year old pug, Dolce. I grew up with a golden retriever and German Shepard and dachshund.

(E) Essential Start Your Day Item: A workout (did you read yesterday's post? I felt lost all day!

(F) Favorite Color: I really like black... but now that I am thinner, I am learning to incorporate more color.

(G) Gold or Silver? I prefer silver or white gold.

(H) Height: 5ft 2.5in - yeah, I am vertically challenged.

(I) Instruments You Play: A lot... but played the clarinet the longest... since 3rd grade.

(J) Job Title: Mother, wife, substitute teacher, administrative assistant for DATS...

(K) Kids: Two: Brock who is 6 and Kiera who is 7 - exactly 16 months apart to the day.

(L) Live: Derwood, MD (where is that you ask? Next to Rockville, MD)

(M) Mom's Name: Robyn, which she HATES. Everyone calls her Penny.

(N) Nicknames: growing up: Jennipoo, in college: Hahleewude (Hollywood), now: Jen

(O) Overnight Hospital Stays? Dislike... a lot!

(P) Pet Peeve: Stupidity. I HATE stupid people.

(Q) Quote from a Movie: "I've got moves you haven't seen!" Pretty Woman

(R) Right or Left Handed? Right. I wanted to be a lefty though. Tried in 6th grade, didn't stick!

(S) Siblings: Three: Two older brothers and a twin sister

(T) Time You Wake Up? Freakishly early, like usually before 4am without an alarm.

(U) Underwear: Well... sometimes and all types.

(V) Vegetable You Dislike: tomatoes, but those are fruits, I think.

(W) What Makes You Run Late: I am NEVER late... in fact if I am not 15 minutes early, I feel late.

(X) X-Rays You've Had Done: knee, tibia, foot, ankle... brain.

(Y) Yummy Food You Make: crab cakes and all kinds of desserts.

(Z) Zoo, Favorite Animal: I don't really like the zoo. They should be in the wild!

I love these things. I don't think I've ever seen you mention that you play the clarinet. I do too! Well, I DID. I haven't touched it in a few years, but I used to be really, really good at it. And I played the alto sax, too, in high school jazz band.

OK, best quote I've seen go by is a play on that Bruce Willis film w/ the little boy... "I see stupid people, everywhere... and they don't even know that they're stupid...."

I also find ignorance to be a frustration. if you don't know or understand something, GO look it up. Seriously.

OH, and thank you for the comment today. I was inspired by the fact that the 10K training team (LOSERS <- see, still in the anger phase) set up a WATER STOP IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. HOW DARE THEY??? Oh, I mean, no, they don't know it's my house... but... still. They really should have knocked and asked if an injured runner lived here before they set up the H2O stop, don't you think?
