Runningskirts.com question

Does anyone have the Runningskirts.com athletic skirt (with boyshorts instead of the briefs)? I am sweating bullets here running in pants so I need to make one good purchase and LOVE IT. I doubt I will ever win one, so I will just have to buckle down and buy one... with the 15% off code.

I felt so much better getting yesterday's post off of my chest. I just got back from a 3.62 mile run with the baby and jogger. Felt great to get out there! I just have to skip showers and get lots of smelly loations to fit my run in before I go to Job #3. I CAN DO THIS!

And thank you for all of your support. FYI:
  1. I DO NOT have a treadmill, so I cannot run inside.
  2. My husband leaves for work at 4:45am - too early to run because it is still dark.
  3. I DO always wear my sports bra and workout clothes, unless I am working. So, it is just getting the run it. If it was my baby, I would let her nap in the stroller. But since I am getting paid to watch her, I think it is right to allow her to sleep in your crib.
  4. I know that this will end and I will have more time.
I hope those who ran Boston are having fun. Praying for you today. Random picture I know... but I would love to be a photographer and I LOVE Spring.

I have the boy shorts and really like them. Temperature wise, I think they keep you cooler than regular running shorts. No issues at all. I have both the "skirt sports" brand and running skirts. I like the pocket set up on the skirt sports one a little better as it is on the inside as opposed to the outside placement of the running skirts one. Enjoy!!!

I have never tried the running skirts, so I am of no help! Sorry!

I love my running skirt, i really didn't think I would but the one's with just briefs no shorts are actually wonderful. You just need to remember body glide. The shorts ride up on me!

pretty much, "what Amanda said." I love my Running Skirt, but only have the briefs. I tried a cheaper skirt from Target w/ the boy shorts in them... FAIL. MAJOR FAIL.

i don't have the boy shorts/athletic version from them. i have something like it from other makers though. I prefer the boy shorts underneath for gym workouts, but for running, i find the other ones to be more comfortable. again, this is other makers, not runningskirts, so I can't comment on their boy shorts version

I don't have one, but I want one. I've managed to find a few pairs of shorts that have longer inseams and work for me, so I haven't forked out the money yet. If you do, definitely review it as I'd like to try the athletic cut one.

I've got a skirtsports running dress with the shorts. Works great and very comfy.

While I have very cute legs, I haven't found a running skirt that works for me :)

i would LOVE one of those running skirts too. i think the briefs are the ones i would get. just easier to not worry about shorts moving around.
found your blog - not sure how... congrats on your weight loss! what a sweet victory indeed! and you have a CAPS shirt on in one of your pictures - we are kindered spirits! i am so excited for their past two wins!! yeah!!!

Good luck deciding on the skirt! I don't own that brand, though I do own others with the shorts. They ride up a bit, but it doesn't bother me.

Yep, I have the ones with the shorts. LOVE them. The shorts don't ride up and are really comfy. I also have the Lulu Lemon skirt and hate that one--the ride all over the place. My only beef with the skirt is that the waist is too loose. I have this beef with all skirts so far though, but the runningskirts one is MUCH better than the Lulu one. It also has good pockets.

HILARIOUS comment on my blog! Love it! My poor H begged me not to "ever do that again" after RIC last year, even though I looked at him and said, "I need to knock about a half hour off that finish time so I can look myself in the eye". He MUST know how one improves on a race PR, but then again, he's the KING of denial.

And don't sweat Halloween. You'll be so "HIGH" after the race that you won't mind sitting there handing out candy until wee hours... in fact, if you're like me, you'll say to every person you see, "I just ran the MCM" b/c you'll be in shock. Now, the day AFTER Halloween, just plan to lay low, preferably on a bed of ice.
