Five Days of Giveaways: Day 4 Winner is...

Okay... first I have to show you something. So do not laugh - too hard.

Do you see that women in the yellow striped shirt, reading a book to children? That is me. My daughter's AWESOME Kindergarten teacher made a slide show at the end of the year... and this was one of the pics. I am mortified. I do not recognize that women.

For those of you out there that think you CANNOT REDUCE your weight... I am a prime example. You CAN! I am not sure when this was taken... probably in the winter before I did the Gazette Healthy Challenge that was from April 09- June 09. That April I weighed in at 197.5. I think I look heavier here... but I do not know for sure.

I wanted to post this picture for inspiration for you who are losing REDUCING your weight and to remind myself how far I have come.

Also, my exciting news is that a friend of mine suggested I ask the Coach of the Experience Marathoners Training Program if I could join them (since the Beginning Marathoners do their long runs on Sundays... and I cannot run on Sundays). And He said YES!!!!!!!! So, by June 20th I have to have my weekly mileage up to 40-45 and my long runs need to be 14 miles. I KNOW I can do it and I am so thankful that I will find people to run with.

Okay... enough about me:

The Winner is #69: Amanda - RunToTheFinish! Congrats Amanda... just email me what size you want the shirt in and your address to: hahleewude at verizon dot net and I will get it sent out to you ASAP.

Also, do not forget to enter the Five Days of Giveaways: Day 5 by 11am tomorrow. I will make the winning announcement in the evening as I have a church meeting from 9am to 3pm.

Big - Huge congratulations to Amanda. How cool that she won.

And make sure to listen to Amanda's recommendation to increase your mileage . . . slowly - so you don't get injured.
