Snowmageddon = No Running

Seriously... my 10+ inches of snow has turned into 20-28 inches (hard to tell due to snow drifts) in the Blizzard of 2010 and it is still snowing. I have shovelled my driveway 5 times and since it snowed all night, you cannot even tell. I shovelled my walk way so you can see. By the time I got my camera (we are talking about seconds here), the walk way was covered again.

On the P90X schedule, we are set to do Yoga X. Our arm workout yesterday has been quintupled for me with the shovelling... and I think I will stop trying until the snow stops falling. It isn't like we could get out even if our driveway was shovelled.

Good thing I made it to the library yesterday morning. Six DVDs for the kids and 2 for the hubby and I, plus 3 books for was my score.

And poor Dolce, the Wonder Dog. I think she favors me and does not like the snow. I have to shovel a pathway in our yard for her to get her business done. My biceps are killing me, but don't worry, I am bending my knees when tossing the heavy snow.

I hear this may be the storm of the century for you guys (especially cruel, given it's been an unusually snowy year). I once had 84 inches of snow to shovel and 26 years later I can still remember it clearly - you run out of places to put it.

Hang in there.

Daaaaaamn! Thats a lot of snow. NYC was suppose to get hit yesterday night and today. We got zero! On the bright side you now have an awesome cross training routine...shovel! You will have guns!

I had to get out today before everything freezes over into yucky back-breaking ice! I am so grateful I don't have a driveway to shovel...at least you're getting a workout in! I am so intrigued by this p90x thing. One of my girlfriends did it and she said it turned her into a machine! I am tempted to try it....

WOW is right! Great photo! And I think your workouts sound perfect given the weather conditions. That's A LOT of shoveling. We didn't get any of this storm, just what's been on the ground for awhile and then a dusting around mid-morning. Don't worry it will MELT!!!! And hopefully soon and I'll still have snow in March and maybe April...nice. ha

Hopefully sunny weather is right around the corner for you :]

Living in Wisconsin I'm pretty used to that kind of crappy weather, but it's no fun!

Way to rock the shovel girl! ;]
