3TT

1. Swim team will end today. Yay! I have tried to get my children to do swim team for 2 years but this year was the first year I backed off and they wanted to do it. Really!

And since they wanted to do it, I encouraged and I am spent. It is a lot harder shuffling two kids out of the house by 8:30 every morning for swim practice. Last year I went into the office for an hour with the kids, grabbed work and then headed to the pool. Days of working poolside and watching the kids ended. It has been grabbing work after practice and hurrying to get it done. I think we all are looking forward to just enjoying the pool again.

2. On Monday at my "annual" appointment I had one of the best feelings in the world. When asked to step on the scale, I kept my flops on and when I got off she said, "and we deduct 2 lbs for clothes"... and I said, "oh, that isn't necessary!" BIBLE! I was only wearing a runningskirts.com (sparkle hearts if you must know ;) and a sports bra and light tank) so I know it didn't weigh 2lbs. But the reality of it was that the number was so good... EPIC good... that those 2lbs did not even matter to me. It was an awesome feeling... and one that has been hard to share with people because it kind of is like bragging... and I am, I guess... but to come this far....in 2 years. Total weight loss: 93 lbs (and that was without the 2lbs deduction ;))

3. I have decided to go under the knife. I will be scheduling it today. Thank you all for your feedback. Ultimately, I think it is the right thing to do. I do not want to do it now. I prefer to wait because I do not want to let Bob down by not being able to run RIC with him. He wants me to do it now too. Actually, all the men in my running life (Hubs, TG and Bob) want me to do it... for good reasons, mostly, so yeah. Praying it is a simple in and out and there will be no lingering affects and I will be back running within a week.
