I finished:
This photo was taken by my friend Beth Hedgpeth at mile 10. Her daughter Jen and her cheered me on from many spots and it was just what I needed to survive!

It was the HARDEST thing I have ever done. I have a new respect for marathoners...
THANK YOU to all of YOU for tracking me... and for giving me well wishes and congrats. It MEANS so much to me. Thank you for Beth and Jen for stalking me on the course and taking AWESOME pics so I can document this journey. Thank you to Cat and Craig for not giving up when you did not see me at mile 1 and 4, but those hugs at mile 9 were AWESOME! Thank you for Bob for running 11+ miles with me to take my mind away from the race. Thank you to Lyle and the kids for greeting me at the finish, I know it was hard to entertain them, dear! Thank you to Kirsten, my amazing sister-in-law who inspired me to run a marathon. Thank you to my twin sister Janet who prayed all week for me and started to pray at 3:30 this morning. I felt those prayers.
Thank you to my local friends who put up with me during my training and who tracked me on line all day. It means so much to me. And thank you to those local friends who called and congratulated me.
And THANK YOU to the anonymous person who put a balloon on my mailbox- a sweet surprise when I got home!
And finally.... praise God... from whom ALL blessings flow. Your love and mercy are endless. I felt your presence on the course with me today THE ENTIRE TIME. You loved me before I was even formed in my mother's womb. You love in spite of my flaws. You knew I would be successful today. Thank you for loving me so much that you gave Jesus to us, as an example of how to live. I showed your love on the course. So many runners where fellow believers and that was just AWESOME to be in fellowship with today. I felt you carry me several times when I felt I could go no further. Thank you for keeping me from being injured... NO ITB issues - I know that was your miracle, just for me.
Tune in later this week (hopefully tomorrow) to see the race recap - it might take several days to finish.
